HOSES & CONNECTORS

Which Nozzle for Which Job?

The straight Ø22 mm nozzle is for an empty cavity, the direct nozzle for a cavity that already holds insulation, the curved needle for timber-frame elements.

The straight nozzle blows straight ahead. The direct nozzle blows to the side: it pushes the old material away and, turned in the hole, fills downwards, sideways and upwards. The curved Ø51 mm needle goes through the membrane of a timber-frame element; the 360° rotation turns the needle to the angle you need while the hose stays straight and does not twist.

Which Hose to Choose?

Both hoses are polyurethane with a grounding wire, in Ø51 mm and Ø76 mm; the difference is softness against wear.

The hose with the metal grounding wire is softer: it rolls up tightly at the end of the day and fits inside the machine hopper for transport. The hose with the plastic wire is harder: it resists crushing and abrasion from the material and lasts longer on busy sites. Both connect with the same steel connectors and clamps, and the reducer joins a Ø76 mm line to a Ø51 mm one. Frequently Asked Questions

The kit holds the wear parts of one model in one box – filters, motor belt, circuit breaker, key stocks and, for the 9700 and 9800, the contactor relay, chain links and the rocker switch – so the van carries everything for a service or a repair on site, and replacing them takes minutes. We recommend ordering the kit together with the machine. Single parts are for replacing one item you have used up.

Measure the air pressure with the air pressure gauge during service. If the reading matches the manufacturer's setting, the seals are fine; if it stays below, the seals leak air and the set should be replaced. The signs on site are falling output and material blowing back into the hopper.

Yes – the hoses, connectors, reducer and clamps use the standard Ø51 mm and Ø76 mm sizes, and the nozzles fit onto standard hoses, so all of them work with other insulation blowing machines that have the same hose connection.
